Imagine the feeling of freedom that comes from gliding down a ski slope, the thrill of paddling on a calm lake, or the joy of cycling with friends along the greenway. For individuals with disabilities in our area our vision is to make these experiences possible. Portneuf Valley Adaptive Sports Inc., a 100% volunteer-led organization dedicated to adaptive outdoor recreation came into existence in 2025. Our first goal was to provide Adaptive Ski lessons at Pebble Creek Ski area. Our future vision is to add other sports like biking, paddling, climbing and horseback riding. Working with partners and purchasing adaptive equipment for these activities, we hope to expand the opportunities in Pocatello for those needing special equipment and instruction to participate.
